Farewell to my "so called life"...

Well for 10 days anyway.  We are going on a little vacation.  We are leaving tomorrow and not returning until the 13th.  I am not sad by any means we have big plans to consume large amounts of food see at least two movies and spend many hours basking in the HOT sun in St. George and even more time in the POOL.  






So my faithful blog supporters these photos will have to last you until I return.  Hopefully armed with an arsenal of FUN filled photos!!  Stay tuned I will be thinking of you all and enjoying my BREAK!! (which I pretty much think I deserve!)

Our neighborhood will be missing you. Have a ton of fun and eat lots of food for when you return, it will be biggest loser! (I hope I am THE biggest loser.) We will think of you when we see Hancock.

Master Bedroom Makeover Board and Batten

 I highly recommend a few items although you don't HAVE to have them it just makes this project go so much faster.  I bought a pancake compressor with three nail guns included saved me on this project and a miter saw.  I bought both from Home Depot and they didn't pay me to say that it is just where I happen to shop.  I actually had this all measured out and went to Home Depot and they cut the mdf primed boards for me.  However I later purchased the miter saw and was then able to cut things right here at my house.  The nail gun I used is a 16 gauge gun that can shoot nails up to 3 inches.  I used a 2.5 inch nail to cover the thickness of the board and wall.
